Specially designed for the cab, where most heat is lost during winter, we have developed a magnetic exterior insulation.

In winter, the Magnet exterior insulation protects the interior from cold and simultaneously prevents heat loss from the interior through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not strike the glass directly and therefore does not enter the interior unimpeded. This is primarily achieved by the closed-cell foam (Extreme insulator) in the core of the exterior insulation.

In summer, the exterior insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and external heat, preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know this problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the glass from the inside. This happens when the warm interior air in the camper cools at the much colder glass and the moisture, present in the room as vapour, condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's exterior insulation, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.

Installation in no time

The Magnet exterior insulation is placed precisely on the glass and then adheres automatically to the bodywork. For fixation on the windscreen, both wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation, and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger sides and secured. The straps of the side exterior insulations are attached to the mirror arm. In addition, all exterior insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong wind.
