Magnet exterior insulation Mercedes Sprinter W901-905 (1996-2006)

Specifically for the cab, through which the most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic exterior insulation.

In winter, the Magnet exterior insulation protects the interior from cold and at the same time prevents the heat in the interior from being lost too quickly through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that the cold air does not hit the glass pane directly and therefore does not penetrate unhindered into the interior. This is mainly ensured by the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) at the core of the exterior insulation.

In summer, the exterior insulation optimally shields the interior from sunlight and heat from outside, thereby preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass. This happens when the warm indoor air in the camper cools against the much colder glass and the moisture present in the air in the form of vapour condenses. Before the trip can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's exterior insulation, condensation on the glass can be completely avoided.

Attached in no time

The Magnet exterior insulation is placed precisely onto the window pane and then attaches automatically to the bodywork. To secure it to the windscreen, both wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger side and tightened. The straps of the side exterior insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all exterior insulations have large plastic eyelets that offer an individual attachment option in strong wind.
