Specifically for the driver's cab, through which most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic exterior insulation.

In winter, the Magnet exterior insulation protects the interior from cold and simultaneously prevents heat in the interior from being lost too quickly through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not hit the glass pane directly and thus does not enter the interior unimpeded. This is mainly due to the closed-cell foam (Extreme Insulator) in the core of the exterior insulation.

In summer, the exterior insulation shields the interior optimally from solar radiation and heat from the outside, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms from inside on the glass pane. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools down at the much colder glass pane and the humidity, which is present in the room in the form of vapour, condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen first has to be wiped dry. With Project Camper's exterior insulation, condensation on the pane can be completely avoided.

Installation in a jiffy

The Magnet exterior insulation is placed precisely on the window pane and then automatically adheres to the body. For fixation on the windscreen, both wiper blades are folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are laid around the door handles on the driver and passenger sides and secured. The straps of the side exterior insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all exterior insulations have large plastic eyelets, which offer an individual fastening option in strong wind.
