Specifically for the driver's cab, where the most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.
356 days well insulated
In winter, the magnet external insulation protects the interior from cold and simultaneously prevents heat in the interior from being lost too quickly through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not hit the glass pane directly and therefore does not enter the interior unobstructed. This is ensured above all by the closed-cell foam (Extreme insulator) in the core of the external insulation.
In summer, on the other hand, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and heat from outside and thus prevents the greenhouse effect.
No condensation
Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass pane. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools down on the much colder glass pane and the moisture that is present in the room in the form of vapour condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With the external insulation from Project Camper, condensation on the pane can be completely avoided.
Attachment in a jiffy
The magnetic external insulation is placed precisely on the window pane and then automatically adheres to the car body. For fixation on the windscreen, both wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver's and passenger's side and secured. The straps of the side external insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong wind.
