Specially designed for the cabin, where most heat is lost during winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.

365 days well insulated

In winter, the magnetic external insulation protects the interior from cold and simultaneously prevents heat in the interior from being lost too quickly through window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not directly hit the glass pane and thus cannot freely enter the interior. This is mainly achieved through the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the external insulation.

In summer, in turn, the external insulation shields the interior optimally from solar radiation and external heat, thereby preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass pane. This happens when the warm indoor air in the camper cools down on the much colder glass pane and the moisture present in the room in the form of steam condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With the external insulation from Project Camper, condensation on the pane can be completely avoided.

Fastening in a jiffy

The magnetic external insulation is placed precisely on the window pane and then adheres automatically to the bodywork. For fixing to the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger sides and tightened. The straps of the lateral external insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong winds.
